Overview

As a Mechanical Engineer for Mechatronic Product Development, you are responsible for the design, development, and validation of mechanical components and subsystems within complex mechatronic automotive products. You contribute from concept phase through industrialization, ensuring high-quality, manufacturable, and robust mechanical solutions aligned with system, electrical, and software development.

Key Responsibilities

. Mechanical & Mechatronic Development

1. Develop mechanical concepts and detailed designs for mechatronic products and assemblies

2. Design and optimize kinematic systems and moving mechanisms

3. Perform tolerance analysis and stack-up calculations

4. Knowledge about materials plastics, metals, stamped grids (Stanzgitter)

. System & Cross-Disciplinary Coordination

5. Collaborate with system, electrical, and software engineers

6. Contribute mechanical input to system concepts and requirements

. Validation & Industrialization

7. Support prototypes, DV/PV testing, and industrialization

8. Ensure DFM together with suppliers and toolmakers

Required Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or comparable field

Experience with mechatronic product development in automotive is an advantage

Languages

English: business fluent

German: advantage
