Role: Partnering with cross category stakeholders & key account specialists, developing strong campaign programs, formulating of sourcing strategies & usage of tactical & influential relationship with suppliers to translate business requirements into purchasing strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiations & implementation of the commercial conditions for the allocated portfolio;
- Regularly review the shelf life of the products and propose solutions for their sale;
- Tracks the achievement of the negotiated target to obtain the related discounts;
- Monitor compliance with contractual clauses for service contracts;
- Tracks the status of open invoices and receipts from clients in the assigned portfolio;
- Analyses and negotiates with suppliers to obtain a margin per product and additional budgets;
- Informs the sales team on price changes that may occur on the non-RX portfolio;
- Analyses and proposes price, margin, and category changes to existing products in the portfolio;
- Set the objectives of each campaign (sales plan, margin achieved, budget) and monitor achievement;
- Keeps track of budgets used in campaigns;
- Ensures that the set margin targets are met.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor/Master's degree in Economics, Marketing or relevant;
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role in Procurement or Category Management;
- Negotiation, marketing, and sales courses are an advantage;
- Knowledge of the specifics of the pharmaceutical market is an advantage;
- Microsoft Office skills (Power point, Excel);
- English level - intermediate to advanced level;
- Analytical thinking, problem solving, decision making, teamwork.
