Descrierea jobului

For one of our clients, we are looking for an IT Manager who will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of IT services and projects that are secure, available, and reliable.  
In this role, he or she will execute the implementation of IT initiatives in support of operations.
The IT Manager shall identify IT operational requirements, provide day-to-day leadership and quality control to enable performance objectives and successful cost and schedule performance.


Responsibilities:
  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time;
  • Audit systems and assess their outcomes;
  • Decide whether to keep/modify/replace current applications;
  • Decide whether to use in-house resources or subcontractors;
  • Preserve assets, information security and control structures;
  • Handle annual budget and ensure cost-effectiveness;
  • Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance;
  • Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures;
  • Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems;
  • Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy;
    Develop, manage, and coach team members to deliver an exceptional customer service experience;
  • Monitor, report, and analyze team performance to drive improvement in KPIs;
  • Forecast potential issues based upon trending data and implement corrective action plans;
  • Identify trends in support requests and opportunities for improvement;
  • Follow up with customers to identify areas of improvement;
  • Identify training opportunities and assist in building educational road maps;
  • Maintain stated guidelines, processes and procedures;
  • Provide regular updates on team performance during monthly IT operational reviews.
Successful delivery of these IT services includes the following high-level objectives:
  • Maintain a secure operational environment;
  • Effective application of service cost and service management practices to achieve full cost transparency;
  • Continual modernization of IT systems and applications;
  • Effective cost management and full accountability and apportionment.


Requirements:
 
  • Proven working experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience;
  • Proven experience of successfully managing inter-connected applications;
  • Proven programming experience;
  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and computer hardware/software systems;
  • Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation;
  • Ability to manage personnel;
  • Ability to manage subcontractors;
  • BS in Computer Science, MIS, or similar field.
