values and principles in leading people. Preferably to lead by example.
• Has a strong market and customer orientation.
• Demonstrates an analytical approach of marketing, being results oriented.
• Is comfortable with “in house” activities – not all actions need an agency.

POSITION PURPOSE
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the Marketing and Communication Strategy in cooperation with relevant local and headquarter stakeholders with the scope of meeting the business objectives of the company regarding the sales, market-share, brand(s) recognition and reputation of the company.
The position manages, coordinates and supervises a team of 5 specialists and reports to the Managing Director of the Romanian Operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Developing and implementing the Marketing Strategy considering the market trends and plans the business development for the next years, analyses competition and the evolution of the relevant business indicators for the targeted market.
• Develops the marketing strategy in close correlation with the business strategy and supervises the implementation.
• Prepares and monitors the plan and the marketing and communication budget as part of the company overall budget.
• Leads the PR, Communication and CSR function in order to reach the business objectives set in terms of branding and business perception, as well as the objectives of monitoring and organizing all aspects that potentially would impact the company image and brands.
• Develops and recommends relevant actions in order to ensure that the brand strategies continuously adapt to the market opportunities, maintain or increase the competitive advantage of the company and stimulate the development of the company product portfolio.
• Offers support for the development of the new product(s) launches.
• Develops and maintains close relationships with the sales force being constantly present in the field in order to obtain relevant information about the dealership environment - ideas, business plans etc. and about final clients – trends, relevant needs and demands etc.
• Plans and supervises the implementation of effective campaigns of advertising, publicity and media for both off- and on-line environments.
• The position is responsible for the development, implementation and updating all the policies, procedures and functional systems needed to correctly and efficiently working environment for reaching the marketing goals.
• Creates and adapts and ensures the implementation of coherent marketing policies; realizes the brand management plan, distribution channel management, marketing communication etc.; is a strong liaison between sales, product management, quality and other internal functions in order to ensure the desired consistency and synergy.
