Skills and knowledge most relevant to the job:

•Bachelor’s degree required;
•1-3 years of experience in handling Procurement/ Sourcing responsibilities;
•Experienced in negotiation and administration of contracts;
•Should demonstrate ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across; functions, organizations and suppliers / vendors;
•Should demonstrate ability to resolve complex process / systems problem through the utilization of decision/financial models and project management skills;
•Detail and action oriented, professional attitude, reliable, should be accountable, pay high attention to details and work well under pressure / stress;
•Possess strong organizational and time management skills;
•Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner;
•Proficient with Excel, Power Point and other MS Office products;

Your Day-To-Day

•Requesting and evaluating offer;
•Processing the purchase requests in strict compliance with the internal policies, rules and procedures;
•Monitoring of compliance performance;
•Coordinating and optimizing procurement activities, methods, tools and processes;
•Vendor setup and management (incl. vendor data related reports);
•Interact with internal customers and vendors daily to resolve transactional issues;
•Responsible for appropriate supplier setup/support Strategic Sourcing team with reports and system based information on the bidding processes for selected purchase requests, and supplier and contract pricing validation for all purchase requests;
•Support on the Purchasing Card (P-card) program implementation;
•P-card purchasing program administration and reconciliation;
•Responsible for supplier communication to resolve transactional issues;
•Responsible for resolving invoice price and terms discrepancies to enable order processing;
•Redundancy / vacation, illness coverage of team members based across the world;
•Late work schedule of 1 pm until 10 pm required for coverage of Americas (mainly US) office hours;

Your Impact

As a member of our Global Procure to Pay team, you will be responsible for Strategic and Operational Sourcing operations in America, Canada and Brasil. The responsibilities include also support of the Global Travel Director on the maintaining PTC’s local Travel program.

Your Team

You will be part of a 4 people department based in Europe, with responsibility for Operational Sourcing in US, Canada and Brazil. Required to interacting comfortably with internal customers and peers based in various regions.
