Since its establishment, the company has successfully completed numerous projects ranging from airports, ports, marinas, roads, and bridges to high-speed trains, high-capacity power plants, and tourism facilities.


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accountant to support the finance team in daily accounting operations.

In this role, you will follow established processes to perform a variety of routine accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and reporting standards.


Rol overview

  • Downloading suppliers’ invoices from E-invoice system (SPV) and book them in SAP.
  • Recording various GL Accounting Notes.
  • Verifies Purchases & Sales Journals, cross-checking Journals with invoices in hardcopy
  • Book-keeping of EU and non-EU invoices for equipment, materials and services, bank statements, employees’ expenses reports.
  • Maintaining accurate stock listings; Facilitate and participate in weekly, monthly and annual stock counts; Perform monthly stock reconciliations of physical counts against system for all categories of inventory and highlight variances to the management
  • Reconcile stock deliveries with purchase orders and or agreed contract terms and raise nonconformity reports where applicable.
  • Ensure proper records and classification in terms of cost and quantity of all inventory items: materials, raw materials, spare parts and other consumables.
  • Update and verify the fixed assets register and monthly depreciation.
  • Prepares balance confirmations at the year end and whenever necessary for the Company's partners.
  • Prepare weekly the suppliers aging report (Accounts Payable Aging Report) and operate payments in online banking system
  • Support month-end and year-end close process, financial audit and any tax audit, if necessary.
  • Archive finance documents
  • Support Accounting Manager in issuing reports as per group and local legislation requirements


Education:

University (bachelor’s degree) or equivalent in Finance and / or Accounting.


Experience

  • 4-5 years of accounting experience in a fast-paced environment, experience in large construction projects preferred
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Good IT skills with computer spreadsheets, software and automated accounting systems
  • Good knowledge of recording transactions and preparing various reports in SAP system
  • Advanced with Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Good command of both oral and written local language and English is required
