For our client, a leading manufacturer of components for the automotive industry, we are looking for an Accounting Team Leader.

Main Responsibilities:

• Planning, prioritizing, and allocating tasks within the shared accounting team;
• Providing guidance, coaching, and ongoing feedback to team members;
• Monitoring team performance and supporting individual development and growth;
• Ensuring deadlines are met across all accounting activities and operational KPIs are achieved;
• Supervising and validating daily accounting postings (AP, AR, GL, fixed assets, banking, etc.);
• Reviewing and approving account reconciliations;
• Ensuring the accuracy of the trial balance and financial statements;
• Coordinating monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities for assigned entities;
• Supporting the preparation of internal and external audits;
• Ensuring compliance with applicable accounting policies across all relevant jurisdictions;
• Preparing and/or reviewing internal and external reports (financial statements, management reports, tax declarations) for the Service Center;
• Identifying and escalating financial risks or potential compliance issues;
• Analyzing existing accounting processes and proposing improvements;
• Contributing to the digitalization and automation of accounting workflows;
• Developing and updating internal procedures and working instructions.

The Ideal Candidate:

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics;
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a similar role;
• Experience in team coordination is considered a strong advantage;
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and taxation;
• Experience with accounting ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Navision, or others);
• Advanced Excel skills;
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team;
• Analytical thinking and strong attention to detail;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities;
• Results-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to continuous improvement;
• Fluency in English, enabling effective communication in a global environment;
• Driving license category B;
• Availability for travel within the country and abroad.
