Key Responsibilities:
Leads and develops the Additional Fabrication (Mechanical Processing) Department, building a high-performing, engaged team and maintaining a positive work climate.
Delivers departmental KPIs (safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity) and ensure consistent performance reporting accuracy.
Drives profitability and operational efficiency by optimizing production flows, reducing downtime, and improving overall equipment effectiveness.
Plans, schedules, and monitors production (daily/weekly/monthly), allocate resources, and aligns execution with the master plan from Planning.
Confirms delivery lead times for new orders and support the Planning department with capacity and feasibility inputs.
Analyzes production capacity and workforce needs, ensuring adequate staffing based on open orders and load.
Manages budgets and cost control, including annual budget preparation, monthly budget follow-up, and management reporting.
Provides costing support (Additional Fabrication costs) for new and existing profiles/products.
Coordinates cross-functional improvements, partnering with Technical/Investments Department to implement new technologies, processes, and internal projects.
Leads quality and defect reduction actions, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective/preventive measures.
Supports Sales needs by providing technical/production input for current and potential customers.
Ensures equipment reliability, monitoring condition and coordinating with Maintenance for timely interventions.
Represents the department in internal governance, participating in operational and management forums (e.g., production, daily boards, complaints/quality reviews).
Acts as Department Quality Assurance Representative, ensuring controlled documentation, training, audit readiness, and proper use/labeling of measuring devices.
Participates in internal committees (scrapping and reception as applicable), ensuring compliance with internal procedures and sign-off responsibilities.
Provides technical expertise to the Sales team, offering guidance on welding-related requirements for potential and existing customers.
Contributes to the development, planning, and implementation of new welding business initiatives aligned with the company’s core activities, supporting customer base expansion.
