We are seeking a highly motivated AI Intern to work closely with leadership over a 6-month contract. This role is designed to help us understand, evaluate, and implement AI opportunities across the company. This is not a traditional “internship”, you will be working directly with our Author & Edit President.
What You’ll Do

• 6 month contract position
• Identify repetitive tasks or processes that could be improved
• Look for areas where AI could save time or increase productivity
• Build simple tools or automations to solve real problems and recommend where we should focus our AI efforts
• Use modern AI tools to improve workflows and test ideas quickly and measure results
• Suggest tools, training, or systems we should adopt
• Explain AI opportunities in clear, practical terms and run small workshops or demos
• Create simple documentation so teams can continue using what you build
  

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of modern AI technologies (LLMs, automation, applied ML)
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value
• Experience building quick prototypes (Python, APIs, no-code/low-code tools)
• Structured thinking and strong communication skills
• Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity
• Background in AI, Data Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
