Main Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise the accounting department;
• Perform monthly/annual accounting activities according with Romanian and German requirements;
• Prepare the accounting reports and monthly/quarterly /yearly tax statements, statistics statements, GAAP and IFRS financial statements;
• Participate in reporting and controlling processes and ensure an accurate statutory/IFRS reporting;
• Collaborate with tax authorities for tax reviews;
• Participate in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing the requested documentations;
• Leading, mentoring and training the accounting team to ensure high performance;
• Proactively perform preventive check-ups inside accounting department and take the needed actions and mitigate the risks;
• Review and recommend changes of existing accounting guidelines and internal procedures.

Main qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA license is a plus;
• 5 -7 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a multinational company (retail is preferable);
• 2-3 years progressive leadership;
• Very good knowledge of the English language, German Language will be considered as an asset;
• Very good knowledge of R.A.S. and I.F.R.S. standards;
• Working experience in ERP accounting packages, preferably in SAP;
• Very good knowledge of MS OFFICE applications, especially Excel.
