To better support the implementation of our development strategy, we are looking for a Commodity Buyer based at our location in Cisnădie.

Job Description

As a Buyer, you will:

• Manage procurement activities for Mechanics and Packaging commodities, including tooling management at supplier level.
• Drive supplier benchmarking & localization to unlock cost, quality, and lead-time improvements across packaging and mechanical components.
• Identify and bundle suppliers, reduce complexity, and collaborate closely with the Global Commodity Manager.
• Act as Level 1 support in the plant and play a key role in escalation processes.
• Ensure competitive sourcing, supplier performance, and on-time availability of materials and tools for production.
• Promote sustainable and compliant choices in materials and packaging where standards and customer requirements apply.
• Support new projects, change management processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to other purchasing areas (Non-Production Materials, Electronics, Project Purchasing) as needed, based on workload.

Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain, ideally in an industrial/automotive environment.
• Strong analytical skills, negotiation abilities, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, international environment.
