Our client, a fast-growing European leader in intelligent energy storage and grid flexibility solutions, is looking for an experienced candidate to take on the role of Country Manager. Main Responsibilities:

• Identify, develop, and oversee a strategic portfolio of battery system projects that drive growth and align with the company’s objectives
• Actively contribute to high-level strategic decision-making, shaping market presence and business direction
• Deliver clear and insightful weekly performance and operations updates to headquarters, enabling data-driven decisions
• Lead market entry initiatives and support the establishment of company operations in new regions, driving expansion and local impact
• Build, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including grid operators, site owners, and permitting authorities
• Conduct comprehensive site assessments and manage the full approval process with local grid companies and regulatory bodies, ensuring smooth project execution

Requirements:

• Engineering or Business Master’s degree
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a comparable leadership or senior management role
• Preferred expertise in contracts, grid planning, energy infrastructure and policy, and local permitting processes
• Highly independent, proactive, and results-oriented, with a strong drive to achieve strategic goals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including company directors, facility managers, urban planners, and energy network designers
• Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously across different phases
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken
