Data Analyst – Fire & Emergency Services (Interim)

We are looking for a Data Analyst to support a public safety organization by delivering data-driven insights, dashboards, and analytical solutions across fire services, emergency response, and crisis management.

Assignment Details

• Duration: 4 months
• Hours: 26–32 hours per week
• Location: Hybrid (minimum 50% onsite)
• Start: May 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve Power BI dashboards for operational and strategic use
• Process and transform data using tools such as DBT and SQL
• Translate business and operational needs into data solutions and visual insights
• Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, data protection, and security teams
• Present insights in a clear, user-friendly way for non-technical audiences
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory requirements
• Contribute to new tools, dashboards, and data-driven improvements

Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development
• Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)
• Knowledge of data processing tools (DBT, SQL)
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, GIS, or DevOps is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams

Data-Analist Brandweer (Interim)

Wij zoeken een Data-Analist die bijdraagt aan datagedreven besluitvorming binnen een organisatie in de publieke veiligheid, met focus op brandweer, crisisbeheersing en ambulancezorg.

• Locatie: Hybride (minimaal 50% op locatie in Alkmaar)
• Start: mei 2026

Wat ga je doen

• Ontwikkelen, onderhouden en verbeteren van Power BI dashboards
• Verwerken en modelleren van data met tools zoals DBT en SQL
• Vertalen van informatiebehoeften naar praktische data-oplossingen en visualisaties
• Samenwerken met stakeholders zoals ICT, Privacy Officer, CISO en projectleiders
• Inzichten helder presenteren aan zowel technische als niet-technische collega’s
• Toepassen van wet- en regelgeving rondom data en privacy
• Bijdragen aan nieuwe dashboards, tools en datagedreven verbeteringen

Profiel

• Afgeronde hbo- of wo-opleiding (bijv. Data Science, IT, Bedrijfskunde)
• Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring met data-analyse en dashboardontwikkeling
• Ervaring met Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)
• Kennis van DBT, SQL en dataverwerking
• Ervaring met Azure Data Factory, GIS of DevOps is een pré
• Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en teamgericht
