We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Debt Collection Manager to lead and optimize our collections operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing collection strategies, managing recovery processes, reducing outstanding debt, and leading a high-performing collections team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the debt collection process from early-stage delinquency through recovery.
Develop and implement effective collection strategies to improve cash flow and reduce bad debt.
Monitor collection performance and prepare regular reports for senior management.
Negotiate payment arrangements with customers and corporate clients.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
Lead, coach, and motivate collection specialists to achieve performance targets.
Analyze portfolio trends and recommend process improvements.
Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Customer Service teams to resolve complex cases
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in debt collection, credit control, or accounts receivable management.
At least 2 years of leadership or team management experience.
Strong knowledge of debt recovery practices and collection regulations.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Analytical mindset with strong reporting and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and collection management systems.
Fluent English; knowledge of Russian or Ukrainian would be an advantage.
