We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer with strong SolidWorks expertise to join our engineering team.

As part of our team, your responsibilities will include:

• Develop 3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings using SolidWorks.
• Create and revise CAD models, BOMs, and specifications in line with project requirements.
• Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and ensure adherence to industry standards.
• Participate in product development activities, including prototyping, testing, and design optimisation.
• Conduct design reviews and provide technical input to improve product performance and manufacturability.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control in PLM/PDM systems (e.g., SolidWorks PDM).

To ensure success in this role, you need the following experience and skills:

• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks (Parts, Assemblies, Drawings, Sheet Metal, Weldments).
• Strong understanding of GD&T, DFM/DFA principles, and material properties.
• Experience with engineering documentation and PDM systems.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• SolidWorks Professional/Expert certification (CSWP/CSWE).
• Background in manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal fabrication & welded assemblies fabrication.
• Hands-on experience with welded assemblies and structural elements.
