Responsibilities

Track plant performance (PR, energy yield, inverter efficiency) and identify underperformance or anomalies.
Perform routine inspections, testing, and servicing of electrical equipment (inverters, transformers, switchgear, cabling).
Troubleshoot and repair faults to restore safe and reliable operation.
Ensure all electrical maintenance activities follow safety procedures (grounding, arc-flash protection).
Recommend and implement measures to reduce energy losses, extend equipment life, and improve reliability.
Monitor daily electrical performance of the PV plant through SCADA and field inspections.
Conduct preventive maintenance on inverters, transformers, switchgear, and cabling.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime.
Perform electrical testing (insulation resistance, thermography, protection relay checks, grounding tests, on-tap changer checks).
Enforce safety procedures (PPE, arc-flash protection) during all electrical works.
Prepare and submit maintenance logs, incident reports, and performance analyses.
Coordinate with O&M teams, contractors, and utilities for troubleshooting and grid-related issues.
Compliance with internal and external regulations in terms of health and safety and quality policy.
Check and tighten electrical connections to prevent overheating.
Track inverter output, string currents, and grid export to detect abnormalities.
Manage and keep track of stock spare parts.
Contribute to root cause analysis for recurring issues.
