Electrical Engineer – Inspection & CertificationEUROCERT | Romania | On-siteAbout EUROCERTEUROCERT is an international inspection, testing, and certification organization providing high-quality technical and certification services to clients across a wide range of industries.We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Romania and contribute to the development of our inspection and certification activities.The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with auditing, client relationship management, and business development capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the development and expansion of EUROCERT's inspection, audit, and certification activities in Romania.Identify and develop relationships with new clients and business opportunities.Conduct technical inspections, audits, and assessments in accordance with applicable standards, regulations, and EUROCERT procedures.Manage assigned projects from initial planning through completion, ensuring quality, technical compliance, and timely delivery.Maintain a strong working knowledge of relevant electrical engineering standards, technologies, and industry best practices.Prepare technical reports, audit documentation, and other required project deliverables.Communicate effectively with clients and act as a technical point of contact throughout projects.Support and mentor junior engineers and contribute to their technical development.Participate in training, professional development, and industry networking activities.Contribute to the continuous improvement of EUROCERT's technical and quality processes.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in electrical engineering, inspection, auditing, certification, or a related technical field.Experience as an Auditor, Lead Auditor, Inspector, or Technical Expert, preferably within a Certification or Inspection Body.Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and relevant technical standards.Experience with industrial/manufacturing processes is highly desirable.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong client-facing and business development capabilities.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.Willingness to travel within Romania and, when required, internationally.Good command of English; knowledge of Romanian is required.Preferred QualificationsProfessional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent professional qualification.Auditor/Lead Auditor certification.Previous experience with a Certification Body, Inspection Body, Testing Laboratory, or Engineering Consultancy.Knowledge of relevant ISO management system standards.Experience in technical inspections, conformity assessment, or certification.Experience in business development within the engineering, inspection, testing, or certification sector.What We OfferOpportunity to join an international inspection and certification organization.A technically challenging and varied role with significant professional responsibility.Opportunities for professional development and continuous training.Exposure to international projects, clients, and industry standards.A collaborative and growth-oriented working environment.Location: Ploiești, RomaniaAddress: 2 Rahovei Street, C1 Building, 1st Floor, Ploiești, RomaniaWork arrangement: On-siteEmployment type: Full-time Show more Show less
