Intertek is seeking a qualified
Electrical Inspector to join our team and support various projects by conducting detailed inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and installations to ensure compliance with applicable standards and client specifications.
The role involves performing site inspections, reviewing technical documentation, and collaborating with project teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring high quality and safety standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of electrical installations and equipment to verify compliance with regulatory standards and project requirements
• Review and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and technical documents
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation summarizing findings and recommendations
• Collaborate closely with engineering, construction, and quality teams to address non-conformities and ensure timely resolution
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures during inspection activities
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results
• Ø Coordination and supervision of branch / industry: timeliness, quality, scope, progress compliance with contractual provisions
• Ø Constant servicing and monitoring status of the works/ contract
• Ø Daily, weekly and monthly reporting depends on form the contract requirements
• Ø Building, technical, executive and as-built documentation analyzing and verification, remarks introducing and sharing with the sites of the project
• Ø Reporting objections and remarks to the designers of building, technical / executive designs authors, technical elaboration, studies etc
• Ø Subcontractors and material verification and approval base on contractors' applications
• Ø Checking the quality of the performed works and used materials, control and archiving of documents, confirming the approval of these materials for sale and use in the construction branch
• Ø Contractors and subcontractors' reports checking and remarks introducing, confirming in base of progress of works
• Ø Checking compliance of investments with the provisions of all contracts (in particular with contractors responsible for the implementation of the investment), in particular with the material and financial schedule, informing the investor about deviations from the schedule, preparing, analyzing and providing the recovery plans
• Ø Checking, substantive and financial confirmation of the scope of work performed by the contractor, in accordance with the provisions of the contracts concluded between the investor and contractors
• Ø Qualification of any additional works in consultation with the investor, preparation of corrections and protocols of additional works/variation orders etc.
• Ø Participation and launching coordination and working meetings at the construction site within the dates set by the investor
• Ø Verification and confirmation of documents necessary to submit an application for interim payments and final payments
• Ø Verification of documents necessary to submit an application for a permit for use by the investor or any other submissions for building authority.
• Ø Checking the calculation of the cost of additional works, replacement work or abandoned and hidden works
• Ø Participation in technical tests and commissioning of installations, technical equipment and archiving of all test reports carried out during construction
• Ø Preparation and analyzing materials related to the calculation of contractual penalties
• Ø Financial settlement of investments
• Ø Giving opinions of technical solutions, resolving technical doubts arising during the works, and if these doubts or the lack of appropriate solutions relate to technical documentation, cooperation with the designers. In matters affecting the change in INVESTMENT costs - presentation of solutions to the INVESTOR together with an opinion / recommendation for the solution
• Ø Control of the compliance of the task with the design documentation, technical conditions for the performance of works, applicable regulations, current technical knowledge, construction law, including executive regulations and contracts for the implementation of investments (including all contractors and suppliers)
• Ø Implementation of any other necessary works specified in the agreement between the Principal and the Client on whose behalf the Contractor supervises the project, which fall within the scope of branch on which the Contractor's supervision covers under this agreement and responsibilities assigned to performed function.
  

Requirements

• Degree or certification in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
• Proven experience as an Electrical Inspector, preferably in industrial, energy, or construction sectors
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation
• Excellent attention to detail and reporting skills
• Good communication abilities and teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel to various project sites as needed
• Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus
• Ø Construction license according to the Polish building law for managing and supervising dedicated industry works. Construction civil license without limitations for road works inspector and telecommunication license for electrical inspector will be advantage
