Job Title: Electrical Technician
Location: Ariceștii Rahtivani, Ploiești, Romania
About The Role
SLB is looking for an Electrical Technician to join our team in Ploiești. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and components.
• Inspect, test, and maintain electrical installations and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, manuals, and technical documentation.
• Install and replace motors, breakers, VFDs, and other electrical components.
• Use testing equipment such as voltmeters and ammeters to diagnose faults.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety standards and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and equipment reliability programs.
  

Requirements

• Technical education in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Previous experience in electrical maintenance is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Team player with good problem-solving skills.
