Requirements

Summary of the Intern's Role The intern acts as a teaching assistant and support for the educational activities of the Surreal English course. Their main role is to assist students during classes and extracurricular tasks, promoting English practice and encouraging active learning. Their responsibilities include: organizing the classroom environment, accompanying students in individual or group activities, correcting exercises, preparing weekly projects, teaching lessons with Professor Suellen, and providing support in online classes when necessary. In addition, the intern must always communicate in English, maintain a collaborative and kind attitude, and contribute to helping students develop confidence and fluency in using the language.

Responsibilities

The exchange student performs various activities that ensure the smooth running of classes and support student learning. Their main tasks include: Supporting teachers in the classroom, especially during Kid’s Box 3 classes and other groups that require additional assistance. Assisting students with their English activities, both in-person and online, guiding them and correcting their exercises. Organizing the teaching environment, keeping classrooms clean, instructional materials prepared, and equipment (such as tablets and air conditioners) working properly. Conducting activities with students who do not have class that day, promoting language practice through exercises, games, or projects. Preparing and supervising weekly projects, especially those carried out on Fridays. Correcting and reviewing activities sent by the teaching team, such as essays, book pages, and exercise sheets. Conducting online sessions via Zoom, according to the schedule made by the students. In all activities, the exchange student must maintain communication in English, demonstrate proactivity, responsibility, and empathy, contributing to a dynamic and welcoming learning environment.
