Environmental Specialist (Mid-Level)
About The Job
We are looking for an experienced Environmental Specialist to join our team at the Drobeta Turnu Severin Plant and actively support environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives across our operations.
Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local and EU environmental regulations and requirements
• Manage environmental permits, reports, and waste-related documentation
• Coordinate with environmental authorities and support inspections and audits
• Monitor environmental KPIs and implement continuous improvement actions
  

Key Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an environmental or EHS-related role
• Solid knowledge of applicable environmental legislation
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  

Nice to Have

• Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and Fire Protection requirements will be considered an advantage.
