About the role

Flexitech is currently looking for a European Purchasing Manager to support the development of its operations across Europe. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in shaping sourcing strategies, strengthening supplier partnerships, and supporting the growth of our automotive activities.

As European Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for managing strategic sourcing activities and supplier relationships at European level. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Finance to ensure competitive sourcing, strong supplier performance, and successful support of new product launches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic sourcing activities and negotiations for key automotive commodities
• Develop and manage supplier relationships across Europe and other relevant regions
• Support new product launches through early supplier involvement
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Finance teams to ensure alignment across projects
• Identify and implement cost optimization opportunities and continuous improvement initiatives

Candidate Profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in purchasing within the automotive industry (Tier 1 or Tier 2 environment preferred)
• Strong negotiation skills combined with a structured and analytical mindset
• Good understanding of automotive standards and processes such as PPAP and APQP
• Fluency in English; French would be an advantage
• Willingness to travel within Europe when required
