Our operations are going international. As part of our corporate strategy GROW(ING) TOGETHER 2030, and in addition to our production sites in Germany, we are planning to establish another site in Romania (located in Pitești, with an expected workforce of around 150 people).

As a Facility Manager, you will ensure workplace safety, health, and maintenance by creating a secure, healthy, and well-maintained environment.Your expertise will be instrumental in achieving compliance, fostering well-being, driving operational excellence, and upholding the highest standards of facility management. Join our team as a Facility Manager (m/f/d).

The position is initially solely responsible for our facilities and includes a wide range of operational tasks. Over time, a team will be developed to support these activities.

The role | Your tasks.

• Overseeing the operation and maintenance of our buildings, including all associated technical equipment.
• Managing and coordinating maintenance activities, cleaning services, safety measures, and external service providers.
• Ensuring full compliance with legal regulations, such as fire prevention standards and workplace safety requirements (EHS; Environmental Protection, Health, Safety).
• Planning, monitoring, and controlling the budget for facility services to ensure cost efficiency.
• Implementing energy management strategies and promoting sustainability initiatives.
• Providing support for reconstruction projects, new construction, and site development activities.

Your experiences and competencies.

• Expertise in maintenance within industrial manufacturing and logistics sectors.
• Specialized knowledge and qualifications in Environmental Protection, Health, and Safety (EHS).
• Strong connections with local authorities for EHS-related matters and collaboration with local companies as facility management suppliers.
• Support and coordination of audits and inspections.
• Experience with SAP PM is a Plus.
• Proficient in English and Romanian, both written and spoken; German language skills are considered an advantage.
• Key Competencies: Display a greenfield mentality, exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities, a proactive and structured approach to work, analytical thinking, a strategic mindset, and a high degree of personal responsibility.
