What You’ll DoTo act as a Field Service Engineer (FSE) within local CSU. Provide a first class service for the Eaton installed base products to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and loyalty. Responsible for installation, commissioning, fault finding/repairs & Preventative Maintenance. Offer support to the extended EMEA Service community through high level technical knowledge and experience in the field.Responsible for overseeing commissioning in local CSU & EMEA on behalf of Eaton Field ServiceProvide the highest level of technical expertise in all Hyperscale commissioning activitiesSupport and train Local FSE's in such activities Onboard, coach and mentor new FSE's that join EatonManage key account technical escalations providing support including site visits, to engineers and customers alike, drive escalations to conclusion and provide feedback where necessaryWork closely with Project Managers, advising on commissioning considerations and assisting on selection of suitable engineers, carry out site visits as required. Assist SIS with support of high profile clients, providing technical advice and attending site visits as required.Maintain direct links with business units (HPO) and act as focal point for all technical exchange regarding the commissioning procedures and testing Manage sub contractor teams were requiredPerform Health & Safety audits of FSE and subcontractors ensuring the high standards required by EATON are maintainedQualificationsInstaller electrical background, suitable education/qualifications5 years of UPS experienceSkillsThree phase electrical installation and commissioning experience essential.Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, SNMP, OPC, DDE, TCP/IP an advantage.
