Financial Controller – SAP (Manufacturing Environment) - Budgeting - Reporting - Romania

We are currently supporting a leading manufacturing company in the search for a Financial Controller. This fully available role offers the opportunity to manage financial operations in a dynamic and complex environment.

Location: Romania (Remote)

Start Date: Immediate

Duration: 9+ months (extension possible)

Daily Rate: To be discussed

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end financial processes, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
• Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements, KPIs, and management reports.
• Monitor budgets versus actuals and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Act as a key user of SAP FI/CO, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.
• Collaborate with operations and management teams to drive cost control, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Support internal and external audit processes.

Ideal Profile:

• 10+ years of finance experience, ideally in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong expertise in financial controlling, reporting, and analysis.
• Experienced SAP FI/CO key user, proficient in leveraging the system for accurate reporting and control.
• Proven skills in budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
• Solid knowledge of accounting standards, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
• Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
