Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role located in Piteşti for a Head Accountant.

What you will do:
You will ensure the organization of accounting activities in general
You will be responsible for the correct preparation of accounting statements and statements necessary for monthly, quarterly and annual closings, according to the legislation in force, respecting the completion deadlines
You will be responsible for the correct reconciliation of all accounting accounts, you will check the sales and purchase journals and you will prepare the trial balance
You will coordinate the records and tracking of third parties
You will monitor the settlements and reconciliation of financial and banking operations
You will coordinate the inventory
You will coordinate the records and reconciliation of salaries and related taxes and contributions
You will prepare the reports requested by the company's management
What we want from you:
Higher education in the economic field
At least 5 years of experience in the financial-accounting field
Knowledge and experience regarding legal requirements in the field; CECCAR certification is an advantage
PC operating skills (good knowledge of EXCEL)
Attention to detail and accuracy in recording operations
Organizational and communication skills
Punctuality, seriousness and responsibility
Experience in the field of international freight transport is an advantage
