As a Health Policy & Management AI Data Trainer, you'll use your MPH-level knowledge to challenge, evaluate, and refine how cutting-edge AI systems reason about population health, epidemiology, health equity, and policy. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role where your domain expertise directly shapes AI that millions of people may one day rely on for health information.
No AI experience required. If you understand public health, we'll show you the rest.
What You'll Do

• Design Complex Public Health Scenarios — Create advanced, realistic problems involving disease outbreak simulations, health equity assessments, biostatistics interpretation, and policy analysis challenges
• Author Authoritative Solutions — Develop rigorous, step-by-step responses grounded in peer-reviewed research, epidemiological data, and established guidelines (CDC, WHO, and beyond)
• Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated health advice and policy recommendations for factual accuracy, bias, logical consistency, and adherence to ethical standards
• Refine AI Reasoning — Provide structured, expert feedback that helps models distinguish correlation from causation, communicate health risks clearly, and respond appropriately to diverse populations
  

Required
Who You Are

• Graduate degree in Public Health (MPH, MSPH) or a closely related field
• Strong foundational knowledge in at least two of: Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Environmental Health, or Health Policy
• Ability to translate complex health data into clear, evidence-based, culturally sensitive written content
• High attention to detail — especially around statistical significance, data citations, and intervention logic
• No prior AI experience needed
  

Nice To Have

• Experience with data annotation, quality assurance, or evaluation workflows
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as R, SAS, or Stata
• Background in health communication, clinical research coordination, or public health surveillance
