We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Entry Level Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our dynamic team in Dallas, Texas 75240. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to essential HR functions such as onboarding, employee relations, and HR system management. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in HR administration and demonstrate proficiency with tools like Paylocity.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and streamline onboarding processes to ensure a smooth experience for new hires.

• Maintain and update employee records in HR information systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Support employee relations by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly and professionally.

• Conduct background checks and verify candidate credentials during the hiring process.

• Assist in managing and troubleshooting HRIS platforms to optimize functionality.

• Collaborate with various teams to ensure HR policies and procedures are effectively communicated.

• Generate reports and analyze HR data to support decision-making and strategic planning.

• Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies in all HR activities.

• Proven experience in human resources administration or a related field.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms, such as Paylocity.
• Strong knowledge of onboarding processes and employee relations.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in conducting background checks and managing recruitment processes.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of applicable labor laws and regulations.
