Join FPS.About the PositionWe are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to join FPS Flexibles Romania S.R.L. at our manufacturing facility in Negrești, Romania.The HR Manager will be responsible for leading the full spectrum of HR operations and personnel administration for approximately 500 employees. The role will be a key business partner to plant management, with responsibility for employee relations, labor-law compliance, union relations, organizational development, and the implementation of global HR practices at the local level.The position will report directly to the Regional HR Director, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Plant Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all HR functions, including recruitment, compensation & benefits, performance management, training & development, employee and industrial relations, payroll oversight, and personnel administration.Ensure full compliance with Romanian labor legislation, internal policies, and applicable local regulations.Implement global HR policies, processes, and best practices in alignment with local requirements and business needs.Develop and implement initiatives to improve employee engagement, satisfaction, retention, and organizational performance.Manage compensation and benefits processes, oversee payroll activities, and prepare and manage the HR budget.Play an active role in union relations, collective bargaining, and the administration of collective labor agreements.Ensure disciplinary processes are handled consistently, fairly, transparently, and in compliance with applicable legislation, in close coordination with plant leadership.Act as a trusted HR partner to managers, providing guidance and support on employee-related decisions and organizational matters.Promote transparent, fair, and consistent HR practices through regular communication and constructive engagement with employees.Monitor key HR metrics and provide management with regular reports, analysis, and recommendations.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Relations, or a related field.Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a people-management role.Proven HR management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Hands-on experience in unionized workplaces, industrial relations, and collective bargaining processes.Strong knowledge of Romanian labor law and HR compliance requirements.Good understanding of occupational health & safety principles and management systems within a manufacturing environment.Fluent Romanian and English, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and in an international business environment.Proficiency in MS Office; experience with SAP SuccessFactors or similar HR systems is an advantage.Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, conflict-resolution, and stakeholder-management skills.Strong analytical, reporting, and presentation capabilities.Please note: The interview process will be conducted in English.
