Job Summary:
The Import-Export Intern will play an essential role in optimizing the efficiency of the import and export processes. At this position you will have exposure to coordinating with logistics service providers to ensure seamless movement of goods across borders, while ensuring strict compliance with customs regulations. The Import-Export Intern will work to enhance on-time delivery performance, supporting the timely availability of products to meet operational and customer demands. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to streamline processes for continuous improvement in supply chain efficiency.
Responsibilities and Duties:

• Help prepare and organize shipping documents, like invoices and packing lists.
• Ensure documents meet regulations and requirements.
• Assist in tracking shipments to ensure they arrive on time.
• Communicate with shipping companies to coordinate deliveries.
• Input shipment information into the company’s system.
• Keep records updated and accurate.
• Communicate with suppliers and customers to provide updates.
• Assist in preparing compliance reports.
• Help monitor inventory levels.
• Assist with inventory counts and reconciliations.
• Conduct basic research on market trends and potential new suppliers.
• Provide findings to the team for consideration.
  

Essential Requirements:

• Education Degree: Has or is in process of obtaining a BSc or MSc; full-time availability is required
• Field of Study: Business Administration / Supply Chain Management/ Logistics and Transportation/ Economics/ Customs and Trade Compliance etc.
• Practical Experience (preferable): Participating in internships or cooperative education programs related to international trade, logistics, or supply chain management can provide hands-on experience and valuable industry insights
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook. Proficiency in software tools used in supply chain management and logistics, such as ERP systems, can be beneficial
• Language Skills: Romania (native); English (Fluent)
