Main responsibilities:

• Researching Romanian influencers who are a good fit for the Ulla Popken brand, target group and plus-size fashion positioning
• Influencer outreach and long-term relationship building
• Helping to coordinate influencer collaborations, product send-outs and campaign communication
• Sharing local insights about consumer behavior and competitor activities
• Localizing and adapting marketing, product and e-commerce content into Romanian
• Reviewing AI-translated texts and adding a natural, human and locally relevant tone
• Community management and customer-facing communication when needed

Working conditions:

• B2B / freelance contract
• Estimated workload: approximately 10–15 hours per week
• Fully remote
• Flexible working hours
• Daily availability on working days required due to occasional urgent tasks
• Collaboration with an international team across multiple markets

Popken Fashion GmbH is looking for a Romanian-speaking freelancer to support the development of the Romanian market for Ulla Popken, a leading plus-size fashion brand.
We are looking for someone with strong experience in influencer marketing, especially in the beauty and/or fashion industry. The role also includes Romanian copywriting, localization, transcreation, content adaptation and local market insight, but influencer marketing will be the key focus of this position.
Requirements:

• Native Romanian speaker
• Must be based in Romania
• Proven experience working with influencers in the beauty and/or fashion industry is essential - applications without this experience will not be considered
• Very good English skills
• Strong understanding of the Romanian market and Romanian consumer behavior
• Experience with fashion, beauty, lifestyle or e-commerce brands would be a strong advantage
• Ability to work independently as a freelancer
• Good feeling for tone of voice, brand language and customer-oriented communication
• Availability on every working day for ad hoc tasks with short deadlines
