We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer (Automotive Harnesses & Subsystems) for a global leader in intralogistics and industrial equipment.

• Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid work model)
• Type: Full-time, Permanent

⚙️ Key Responsibilities:

• Harness & Subsystem design: Design or improve vehicle electrical systems, plan cable routing, and integrate electrical components.
• Customized solutions: Adapt electrical options based on customer needs and give technical support to production or new R&D projects.
• Technical changes: Manage upgrades for current assemblies and replace or redesign electrical components.
• Technical documentation: Create circuit diagrams, 2D harness plans, bills of materials (BOM), and estimate development time (optional: 3D CAD drawings).
• Global coordination: Work together with suppliers, purchasing, production teams, and change management.
• Testing & Production: Set up and test vehicle prototypes, offering technical support during the start of production (ramp-up).

🎯 What we are looking for:

• Education: University degree in Automotive Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical field.
• Harness experience: Clear experience in designing automotive electrical systems, especially wiring harnesses and bus systems.
• Languages: Advanced English is a must (German language skills are a strong advantage).
• Standards: Basic understanding of industrial standards (Machinery Directive) and risk analysis for industrial vehicles.
• Software: Experience with SAP, E3, and Siemens Teamcenter (CATIA V5 or DOORS is a plus).
• Bonus skills: Basic knowledge of hydraulics, control systems (automation), or experience in testing and CAN bus systems.
