At Contec, we deliver projects from A to Z. Depending on the project, you will either work independently or as part of a team to meet the client's digitalization requirements. Assignments vary widely, so it is important that you are deeply interested in software development and in understanding industrial and administrative processes.
Some of your duties:
As an application engineer, you serve as the bridge between the client and the Contec proprietary MOM application (CPMS). Using input from the client and the functional analyst, complex procedures are prototyped and implemented in the application. Listening carefully and understanding customer processes is essential.
Using best practices and coaching, you guide colleagues and delegate tasks during software development. We strongly believe in knowledge sharing to help each other grow.
You prepare functional test plans for internal testing as well as customer acceptance testing.
You configure and set up in-house developed MOM systems for the customer;
You provide support to the customer regarding installed software modules.
