The Junior NDT Equipment Engineer is responsible for understanding the principles of Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) methods and the equipment / consumables used for each technique.
The role involves preparing, maintaining and verification of the equipment / consumables required for each inspection on different projects, ensuring the efficient and correct execution of field (onshore / offshore) and laboratory activities, and it’s part of our Maintenance Team.
Main Responsibilities

• Understanding the operating principles of NDT methods and how they are applied in the oil and gas pipeline industry.
• Identifying and becoming familiar with the equipment specific to each NDT method, including Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Automated Ultrasonic Testing (AUT), Radiographic Testing (RT).
• Preparing the list of necessary equipment and consumables for each project, depending on the inspection method used and project needs.
• Performing maintenance on NDT equipment / consumables and ensuring proper functionality.
• To issue the transport request and conduct follow-up until material delivery at destination.
• Taking part in training and certification programs to develop professional competencies.
• Complying with internal procedures, NDT standards, and safety regulations.
  

Requirements

• Technical university degree.
• English proficiency at a medium level (advanced level is a plus);
• Basic knowledge of Italian is considered an advantage.

• Solid PC operating skills.
• Confident use of the Microsoft 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
