We work with customers across 28 countries from 10 VOIS locations: Albania, Egypt, Hungary, India, Romania, Spain, Turkey, UK, Germany, Ireland, and with a network of teams in Czech Republic, Italy, Greece, and Portugal.About this Role We are seeking a junior colleague eager to begin their journey in telecom software support. In this role, the individual will work with experienced teams to update software packages, identify issues in mobile networks, test applications, and contribute to the smooth performance of Vodafone's information systems. This opportunity is ideal for someone with basic telecom or IT knowledge who wants to grow technical skills in a real network environment.What you will do

• Support the design and development of customised software solutions and applications within a defined framework.
• Update software packages using specific programming languages for telecom equipment to help stabilise and optimise customer networks.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues in GSM, UMTS, LTE, and 5G networks, escalating complex faults to senior colleagues when needed.
• Test software packages and applications in controlled environments, ensuring issues are identified and resolved before implementation.
• Support the configuration, integration, and optimisation of software parameters using telecom-specific programming methods.

Who you are

• Comfortable communicating in written and spoken English; other widely used European languages are an advantage.
• Basic understanding of operating systems, databases, and applications used in mobile and fixed telecommunications.
• Fundamental knowledge of telecom technologies such as 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, IP, SDH, or DWDM.University degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or Information Technology.
• Curious, proactive, and willing to learn in a dynamic, technical environment.
