Tasks & Responsibilities

o  Drive the implementation and further development of the Weidmüller Lean System at site level.

o  Introducing and establishing Standard Work, Visual Management and Shopfloor Management

o  Identify, analyze, and optimize processes using Lean methods (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, Process Mapping, Waste Reduction)

o  Design and improve workplaces under efficiency and ergonomic aspects.

o  Leading enables and facilitates the teams to use and to apply the Lean principles into their day by day working days in a systematic way.

o  Support and coach production and support functions in applying Lean methodologies.

o  Ensuring the success of the improvement activities in the Weidmüller Lean system in the assigned area of responsibility

o  Lead and coordinate Lean improvement initiatives and Kaizen activities.

o  Ensure sustainability and effectiveness of implemented measures through monitoring and follow-up.

o  Develop and implement simple, pragmatic standards for daily operations.

o  Support for all activities in the Weidmüller Lean system

o  Function as a trusted partner for department heads and shop floor teams

o  Serve as the local expert and main contact person for Lean topics within Weidmüller group at plant level.

Job requirements

o  Previous experience in similar roles

o min. 3 years of experience in the technical field

o  Bachelor’s Degree (technical studies is an advantage)

o  Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite- SAP is an advantage (Outlook, Excel, Adobe, Power Point, etc.)

o  Excellent command of English (German is an added value)
