Responsibilities:
He /She is responsible for all material planning activities for BOM (Bill of Material) parts, related products and services for production location in Romania.

• Maintain ERP MRP purchasing flow
• Works closely together with Production Planning/ Logistics to plan material demand.
• Checks and transfers the MRP purchase requisitions into purchase orders and inquires. Follows up, and takes action towards the Supplier if needed
• Coordinate the purchasing activity through SAP and guarantee the consistency of procedures and information flow.
• Informs suppliers of future requirements based on drawings, specifications or forecast and evaluate suppliers.
• Keeps the ERP system updated with purchase related data (e.g. vendor data, safety stocks, etc.).
• Gives input to the Procurement team for the X+1 and X+5, for all purchases related to the plant in Romania.
• Responsible for following up all required procedures according to Bekaert Global Purchasing standards.
• Woks together with, and gets support from the Global Procurement Team, in all these processes, identification of external suppliers, analysis of offers, calibration of suppliers.
• Supports the Global Procurement team in all kind of activities for all BOM parts and related products for production location in Romania.
• Develops and maintains good relationships with a local network of sub-contractors and vendors.
• Ensures all required administration relating to purchases.
• Identifies opportunities to improve the supplier base, reduce cost, or improve TCO, for raw materials and packaging materials
• Represent Bekaert plant towards suppliers.
• Provide if needed back up for peers (sourcing, planning)

The salary is negotiable according to experience and knowledge (the salary mentioned above is not part of our offer).
