Must Haves

• Bachelor’s degree required. Concentration in Business, Information Systems, or Transportation/Logistics preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• 1 to 3 years of operations or analytical experience, preferably within the distribution industry
• Need to be comfortable and have experience working with data, using data to make models, using data to drive decision making
• 70% on the data and computer side, 30% warehouse side
• Previous exposure or work in warehouse or distro environments preferred
• Willingness to learn warehouse processes and equipment operation
• Basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office applications

Plus:

• Exposure to warehouse equipment
• SQL and/or Snowflake experience

Physical Demands / Work Environment

• Work is performed in a distribution center environment with both office and warehouse exposure
• Regular computer use
• Occasional standing, walking, and light lifting as part of warehouse support activities
• May operate warehouse equipment as needed (training provided where applicable)
• Limited business travel (less than 10%)

This position provides analytical support to the National Distribution Service Center. Compiles, analyzes, reports and interprets statistical data from a variety of sources to assist management in evaluating the effectiveness of existing efforts and in establishing strategic goals.

Position Summary

The Entry-Level Operations Analyst supports distribution center operations by assisting with data analysis, reporting, and process improvement efforts. This role works closely with Operations, Logistics, Procurement, and Inventory teams to help maintain efficient workflows and service levels. The position also includes hands-on exposure to warehouse operations, including safe use of equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assists in gathering, analyzing, and reporting data to support cost control and process improvement initiatives within Operations and Logistics.
• Helps track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) on a weekly and monthly basis, identifying basic trends and areas for improvement.
• Supports the Operations Leadership Team by preparing reports and assisting with performance analysis of departments within the Distribution Center.
• Collaborates with Procurement and Inventory teams to help maintain appropriate inventory levels based on demand and forecasts.
• Assists in compiling data for cost analysis and budgeting activities, including cost-to-serve reporting.
• Supports item profiling and facility mapping efforts to improve workflow and space utilization.
• Assists with inventory-related activities such as cycle counts, recalls, and compliance checks to ensure accuracy.
• Operates warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other tools; forklift operation if certified) safely and as needed to support daily operations.
• Completes assigned tasks and projects with attention to detail and within established timelines.
• Provides support for day-to-day data and reporting requests from internal teams.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
