Job Description And Position Requirements

Multiple Penn State Brandywine professors across various STEM disciplines are seeking Penn State students to work as Course Assistants.
Job Duties
Typical job duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with grading assignments, answering questions, and holding office hours.
• Peer mentoring and tutoring.
• Engineering Lab assistant, preparing labs.
• Transcribe/caption lectures, videos, and/or other recordings for ADA compliance.
• Other duties as assigned by the instructor.
  

Requirements And Qualifications

• In order to assist certain Academic Departments, such as Math, Engineering and Physics, students must have successfully completed two semesters in the course subject (and received a B grade or better).

These openings are part-time, typically 3 to 9 hours per week.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
