Key Responsibilities:
- System Commissioning & Start-Up: Lead the commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems, ensuring that all equipment’s are correctly manufactured and performs to specification.
- Pre-Commissioning Activities: Conduct pre-commissioning checks, including system inspections, equipment testing, and alignment with design specifications.
- Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Identify, diagnose, and resolve commissioning-related issues, collaborating with design, operations, and technical teams to ensure smooth system startup.
- Performance Testing & Calibration: Execute performance tests, including functional checks and system calibration, to validate system performance and make adjustments where necessary.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all commissioning activities are conducted in full compliance with company policies, HSE regulations, and industry standards (e.g., IEC, API, ISO).
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed commissioning reports, including test results, equipment performance data, and any deviations from expected outcomes. Document all issues and actions taken, ensuring a clear handover to operations teams.
- Coordination with Stakeholders: Work closely with project managers, design engineers, and field personnel to coordinate commissioning schedules and ensure that project milestones are met.
- Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments during commissioning activities and implement mitigation strategies to reduce downtime and prevent safety incidents.
- Process Optimization: Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and ensure consistent product quality.
- Quality Control: Monitor and enforce quality standards across all production stages to ensure compliance with internal and external quality management systems .
- Root Cause Analysis: Conduct investigations into product defects and process inefficiencies.
- Process Documentation: Develop, update, and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality control plans.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and Six Sigma projects, to drive cost reduction, enhance quality, and streamline production.
- Training & Support: Provide training and support to production staff on quality control processes, tools, and techniques.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and deliver regular reports on process and quality metrics, including defect rates, process performance, and improvement activities.
