Key responsibilities:

1) Follow up HAZOP and HAZID studies

2) Leadership and coordination of Major Accident Risk Assessment activities in closed cooperation with Technical department

3) Ensure permanent update risk monitor for Operational facilities

Check the list of Critical Safety Elements in each facility, reviewing it as often as necessary and periodically checking/maintaining them in working order

4) Strategic technical direction planning and development Process Safety Management (PSM) compliance

5) Development and maintain facility hazard and risk evaluation plan

6) Management of regular site visits in order to evaluate the situation and to define measures with plant managers, shift foremen and operators in the plants

7) Ensure critical tasks in the plants during work execution in closed cooperation with, tank farm and logistics, facility management and project management

8) Management of ad hoc risk assessments as needed

9) Perform development of safety override risk assessments and participate in process safety incident root cause investigations and leverage lessons learned

10) Responsible for the realization of the action plans resulting from Risk Assessment, incident investigation

11) Initiation of task forces when process safety relevant problems occur; lead or coordinate them.

12) Initiate and monitor process safety KPI's.

13) Develop and manage process safety audits and define corrective measures if required.

14) Control compliance programs for process safety on budget process

18) HSE duties: to ascertain and respect the legislation's and internal provisions in the field of health, safety, security and environment protection at work, protection against fire and civil protection as long as their implementation measures; to use the equipment of the current and protection activity according to the technical instructions; not affect the good functioning, not alter, change or arbitrary remove the security devices in the building where he/she is working; to

communicate immediately to the employer and/or assigned employees any situation on which he/she have serious reasons to consider as a danger for the security and health of the employees, as well as any malfunctioning of the protection system; to inform the line manager and/or the employer about the accidents suffered; to cooperate with the employer and/or assigned employees in order to make possible the implementation of any measures or requirements of the law or related authorities; to cooperate with the employer and/or the related authorities in order to allow a work environment and work conditions without risks for security and health;to act, according to the procedures established at the work place, in case of occurrence of any imminent fire danger or other emergency situation; to provide to assigned persons all known data and information concerning occurred work accidents and/or fires.; to attend medical health surveillance examinations at the workplace, as planned by the occupational health physician with the

employer's agreement

19) Complying with and carrying out the activities as per the provisions of SMI documents applicable to the job (e.g. Bonatti policy, directives, standards of the Facilities, manuals, decisions, plans/ programs, procedures, guides, regulations, instructions, applicable external documents);

20) Meeting the legal and other requirements applicable for the field of environment protection, labour health and safety, protection against fire (e.g. authorizations, environment programs, emergency plans for environment, prevention and protection plans, measures as a result of the controls carried out by authorities or by authorized persons;

21) Using, maintaining and handling in a correct manner the working equipment/ means, equipment for fire protection and of labour safety and individual protection equipment;

22) Promptly informing the head on any situation considered by them a hazard for environment, health and safety or on any labour, environment of technical accident occurred at the working place;

23) Informing the hierarchical head on accidents suffered by a person during the working time, on the normal route towards/ from the job and accidents by a vehicle belonging to the company;

24) Not carrying out technological modifications, changes without applying the regulations in force regarding the change management;

Purpose of position:

1) Provide design safety & risk expertise in the area of risk assessment and mitigation

2) Maximize process safety in operational process units

3) Implementation of programs in order to achieve Company’s HSE targets

4) Achievement of best possible operability of all plants related to process safety

5) Maximization of reliability/availability of plants under consideration of economical frame conditions with the target to avoid unplanned shut downs and failures of process plants

6) Central point of contact for Insurance (audits and measure plans) and Risk Monitor management
