Adecco Human Resources is hiring on behalf of its client, a well-known manufacturing company in Sibiu - Production Manager

Responsibilities / Duties:

• Leading the production site in Romania
• Coordinating and managing departments: production planning and control, CNC manufacturing, electrical panel assembly, final assembly, and maintenance.
• Ensuring a smooth production flow for customized automation equipment, processing stations, presses, and tools.
• Implementing measures to reduce costs, increase productivity, and improve product quality.
• Continuous optimization of production processes and implementation of continuous improvement measures (internally and across factories).
• Preparing budgets and investment plans.
• Professional and disciplinary management of employees.
• Close collaboration with various company departments to meet the expectations of internal and external customers.

Candidate Profile:

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering (specialization in production).
• Proven experience in a similar leadership position (automation/special machinery).
• Excellent knowledge of production processes, machinery, and equipment.
• Experience in SAP Lean Management, TPS, 5S.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, practical “hands-on” approach, high empathy.
• Above-average availability, ability to make decisions, strong communication, and teamwork skills.
• Advanced MS Office skills and project management methods.
• Very good command of English, written and spoken.
• Knowledge of German is an advantage
• Ability to enforce decisions, structured work approach, technical competence, and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, and materials.
