Project Engineer
Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager and project team in planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.
• Assist with reviewing project plans, specifications, and submittals to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Track Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and change orders; maintain accurate logs and documentation.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure timely delivery of materials, drawings, and information.
• Support scheduling activities by tracking progress against milestones and assisting in schedule updates.
• Monitor project costs, prepare budget updates, and assist in financial tracking.
• Conduct site visits to support field staff, resolve issues, and verify quality and safety compliance.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports, meeting minutes, and other project documentation.
• Assist with punch lists, closeout documentation, as-builts, and turnover deliverables.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify risks and contribute to proactive solutions.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in construction, project engineering, or related roles (internships or co-ops acceptable).
• Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes.
• Familiarity with project management software (Procore, Microsoft Project, P6, Bluebeam) preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Eagerness to learn and grow into advanced project management roles.
