About The Job
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to develop and lead the engineering teams of Yokohama TWS Romania. In this role, you will work closely with all subordinate engineering departments, namely Mechanical Engineering and Automation.
Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading the engineering team, managing both technical aspects as well as organization, planning, and strategy.
• Ensures machinery safety standards are met according to local regulations
• Maintains machinery reliability levels according to requirements
• Oversees plant investments related to machinery
• Manages the maintenance budget
• Supervises external companies for support in planned maintenance and emergency situations
• Acts as a liaison between senior management and technical teams
• Proven ability to manage and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering projects for complex initiatives, with experience guiding projects from concept through engineering details and construction
  

Key Requirements

• 4–5 years of previous experience in a similar role;
• Engineering background (mechanical or automation)
• Fluent in English;
• Ability to self-motivate and work independently;
• Ability to see the big picture and provide solutions;
• Planning skills and ability to follow up to deliver results;
• Ability to manage complexity and work under pressure;
• Leadership skills and ability to engage teams;
