Responsibilities

• Reviewing and approving project plans, designs, and specifications to ensure that they comply with quality requirements and best practices;
• Coordinating and supervising quality inspections and tests on materials, equipment, and workmanship at various stages of construction;
• Identifying and resolving quality issues and non-conformities, and implementing corrective and preventive actions;
• Preparing and maintaining quality documentation and records, such as quality plans, inspection reports, test results, and certificates;
• Monitoring compliance with technical execution procedures for works;
• Preparation of all documents necessary for the elaboration of the construction book;
• Communicating and collaborating with project managers, engineers, architects, contractors, suppliers, and clients on quality matters
• Conducting quality audits and reviews to evaluate the effectiveness and performance of quality management systems and processes;
• Providing quality training and guidance to project staff and subcontractors;
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, codes, and standards related to construction quality

Qualifications

• Diploma of Engineer of a Faculty / University in the field of road and/or bridge construction or similar;
• At least five years of experience in construction quality management or a related field;
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail;
• A certification from a recognized organization, such as the International Organization for Standardization (ISO 9001/45001);
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills;
• Proficiency in using computer software, such as Microsoft Office;
• Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
