We are partnering with a global engineering and consulting services organization to find a contract In-House Attorney to join their team. This role involves providing legal expertise in contract review, negotiation, and risk management. The position is based in Phoenix, Arizona, and offers the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative in-house legal team on a variety of complex commercial agreements.

Responsibilities:

• Review, draft, and negotiate professional services agreements (PSAs), master services agreements (MSAs), RFPs, and related contracts
• Provide legal guidance on contractual risk, with an eye toward dispute avoidance and potential litigation exposure
• Partner with internal stakeholders on client, vendor, and subcontractor agreements
• Assist with internal dispute management and escalation to outside counsel as needed
• Support a variety of ad hoc legal matters in a generalist in-house environment

• 5+ years of in-house experience
• Strong background in contract review and negotiation, ideally within engineering, construction, or architecture industries
• Experience with professional liability or insurance defense is a plus
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with a distributed legal team
• Comfortable handling both complex RFPs and day-to-day commercial agreements
