PMO Risk & Governance Analyst

Hybrid: Detroit, MI (onsite 3 days/week)

$35.00 – 40.00/hour (D.O.E.)

A leading digital financial services organization is seeking a PMO Risk & Governance Analyst to join the team in Detroit that oversees audit-readiness through compliance and governance alignment. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Maintain and continuously improve application governance documentation and artifacts in Confluence, including operating rhythms, templates, RACI, process flows, decision logs, and knowledge articles.
• Own Confluence site administration and content hygiene for application governance and delivery.
• Support portfolio execution by tracking milestones, dependencies, risks/issues, approvals, and key dates; escalate blockers and risks with clear context and recommended next steps.
• Maintain third-party relationship trackers and coordinate with internal partners and vendors to meet compliance timelines.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and standardize governance and documentation practices, improving consistency, transparency, and audit readiness.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in a PMO, project coordination, governance operations, vendor/risk coordination, or enterprise application support role.
• Demonstrated strength in documentation and knowledge management; advanced experience with Confluence (page design, templates, governance repositories, content organization).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce high-quality meeting minutes and stakeholder-ready summaries.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage recurring deadlines across multiple workstreams.
