Job Title: Occupational Safety & Quality Leader (Romanian-speaking)

About the Role

We are seeking a Romanian-speaking leadership professional with a strong technical background in Occupational Safety (HSE) and Quality Management. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience from operational environments—such as services, facilities, or construction—and has a proven track record in implementing, maintaining, and improving safety and quality systems.

This role combines technical expertise with team leadership, supporting daily operational safety, quality processes, and structured improvements across our sites.

Key Responsibilities

Occupational Safety (HSE) – Primary Focus

• Lead and implement HSE programs, safety briefings, toolbox talks, and incident-prevention initiatives.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal standards.
• Provide HSE onboarding and training for new employees.
• Drive continuous improvement in workplace safety culture.

Quality Management

• Manage and maintain quality processes aligned with ISO 9001 standards.
• Support the development and implementation of ISO 14001 practices (strong plus).
• Conduct internal audits, coordinate external audits, and ensure proper documentation.
• Train teams on quality standards, process adherence, and documentation accuracy.

Leadership & Coordination

• Lead and coordinate operational teams in day-to-day activities.
• Provide structured guidance, workforce planning, and coaching for employees.
• Act as a technical lead on-site, ensuring alignment with safety and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with management to implement improvements and standardize best practices.

Workload Split

• ~60% hands-on technical/operational work (audits, site checks, systems, documentation).
• ~40% leadership, planning, coordination, and training.

Required Qualifications

• Romanian language: Native or fluent (mandatory).
• Proven experience in Occupational Safety and/or Quality Engineering.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001; experience with ISO 14001 is a strong advantage.
• Experience leading teams or managing people in technical environments.
• Practical, reliable, and solution-oriented working style.
• Solid technical understanding and confidence in decision-making.
• Languages: Romanian mandatory; English preferred; German is a plus.

Nice-to-Have

• Auditor certifications (internal or lead auditor) for ISO 9001/14001.
• Experience in service operations, facilities, or construction-related industries.
• Demonstrated success building or improving management systems.

Training Responsibilities

• Deliver HSE trainings, safety briefings, and compliance sessions.
• Provide quality-related training: documentation, process adherence, onboarding standards.
• Support onboarding and continuous development of new employees.
