Group Sales Director – Romania and Hungary
Location: Romania & Hungary (with regional and international travel)
Reports To: Group CEO / Executive Board
Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary Group Sales Director to elaborate and to lead the commercial strategy across a multi-brand group. Our presence includes retail, HoReCa, events, franchising, and private label production. The role will drive growth across Romania, Hungary, and international markets, while honoring our commitment to quality, sustainability, and cultural heritage.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales & Market Leadership
Develop and execute a cross-country sales strategy across direct, franchised and partner-led channels
Lead commercial expansion in Romania and Hungary, with a focus on premium, health-conscious consumers
Plan, prepare and implement of import products launch on the Romanian market from the company groups international portfolio
Ensures the collection of receivables
Franchise & Channel Development
Oversee the franchise network strategy, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance support
Ensure brand consistency and commercial alignment across all franchise and partner locations
Collaborate with the HoReCa, Franchise & Events Business Development Manager to grow experiential and hospitality channels
Multinational & Private Label Partnerships
Manage and expand relationships with multinational retail and distribution partners
Lead private label sales strategy, including contract negotiation and client servicing
Ensure quality, confidentiality, and delivery excellence for all B2B clients
Team Leadership & Structure
Directly manage a cross-functional team including:
Regional Sales Director – Romania
National Sales Director – Romania
Tradition Trade Manager – Hungary
Key Account Manager – Hungary
HoReCa, Franchise & Events Business Development Manager
Foster a culture of collaboration, performance, and cultural pride
Strongly cooperate with production-, marketing- and finance managers
Implement training, coaching, and performance management programs
Brand Positioning & Market Intelligence
Monitor consumer trends in craft, wellness, and premium FMCG segments
Collaborate with marketing to ensure authentic storytelling around the heritage and product quality
Use data to optimize pricing, promotions, and product mix across channels
