Our operations are going international. As part of our corporate strategy GROW(ING) TOGETHER 2030, and in addition to our production sites in Germany, we are planning to establish another site in Romania (located in Pitești, with an expected workforce of around 150 people).
For our international IT hub in Romania, we are looking for a motivated SAP Basis Administrator (m/f/d), inclusive MES / LVS Basis..
The role | Your tasks.

• Administration, monitoring, and maintenance of the SAP system landscape (e.g. SAP S/4HANA, HCM, GTS)
• Administration and operation of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and WMS/LVS (Warehouse Management Systems) platforms
• Ensuring the 24/7 availability and stability of production- and logistics-related IT systems
• Installing, configuring, and upgrading SAP, MES, and WMS/LVS systems and related components in close cooperation with colleagues and external service providers
• Monitoring and ensuring stable communication between SAP, MES, WMS/LVS, and connected production and logistics systems
• Monitoring and troubleshooting production-related printing processes, including label printing and automated print workflows
• Ensuring consistent backup, recovery, and emergency procedures, including regular testing and documentation
• Performing error analysis and troubleshooting in production-critical environments (2nd and 3rd level support)
• Close collaboration with internal application managers, production and logistics teams, specialist departments, SAP consultants, and external technology partners
• Participation in IT and digitalization projects such as system migrations, rollouts, automation initiatives, and infrastructure enhancements
  

Your Experiences And Competencies.

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in SAP system administration (SAP Basis)
• Additional experience in operating MES and/or WMS/LVS systems is an advantage (e.g., MPDV Hydra, Unitechnik Uniware)
• Very good knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, and common operating systems (Linux/Unix, Windows)
• Experience working with databases (e.g., SAP HANA, MS SQL, Oracle)
• Knowledge of interface technologies such as RFC, IDoc, and web services for integration between SAP, MES, and WMS/LVS systems
• Good written and spoken German and English language skills
• Understanding of production and logistics processes is considered a strong asset
• A structured, reliable, and solution-oriented working style
• Willingness to participate in on-call duty
